To make it possible for more people to buy a large painting, I deciced to change the way I sell art. I presented a new collection of painting, drawings, teapots, lamps and chairs and let the viewer decide what it was worth to them. Two floors filled with objects, and for €1 or more, one could walk out with any object show at the exhibition.
It ended up being a wonderful weekend, filled with open and honest conversations about art, money, time, value. A lot of people walked out as new and sometimes first owners of a work of art. All of them made authentic offers that felt right to them, and me.
